Dedicated to the support of student media

OUR MISSION
As the board of directors for Student Media UCLA and its student-run media, the UCLA Communications Board has been entrusted since 1963 with the mission of providing the resources that allow students to create high-quality media that informs, entertains, and provides a forum for civic debate for the UCLA community.
The board meets its mission by focusing on the recruitment and training of student participants and the financial management of its media, while the student editors and managers make the editorial decisions for the board's newspaper, magazines, yearbook, radio station and websites. The board approves and oversees the media budgets, selects editors in chief, and sets top-line policies for the organization.
Students are invited to get involved with the board and its programs. Students interested in joining the Communications Board as members should contact the undergraduate or graduate student governments. Students interesting in joining the media's editorial or advertising departments, should contact us.
